Wraysbury Action Group was formed in February 2009 in response to two local fields being put up for sale in several hundred small plots.  Our main purpose is to ensure that all potential buyers are in possession of the full facts regarding these fields before buying.

These fields are:

>  Green Belt

>  Agricultural Land

>  Flood Plain

>  Have an Article 4 confirmed by the Secretary of State in March 2010

>  Planning has been refused in the last 18 months for forms of enclosure and a 5 bedroom house on land purchased in these 2 fields.

If  you are interested in purchasing a plot at these sites we strongly recommend that, in order to ensure you are in possession of all the facts regarding these fields and any potential development, you obtain advice from your own Solicitor, complete searches and do relevant surveys.  Please also contact the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Planning Department.

The objections to VG102 Application for Village Green status on Thamesfield have been responded to and we now await news on the next steps.

We continue to fund-raise to cover our legal and administrative requirements.

We also continue to receive calls and emails from potential buyers of plots to question us on the information they have been provided when being offered investment plots.

We continue to supply the facts:

> The land is agricultural land

> The land is Green Belt

> The land is Flood Plain (last flooded 2003)
